Students in the Entrepreneurship, Innovation , and Leadership Masters program have the opportunity to apply the knowledge they gain in real world situations through collaborations with area corporations and nonprofits. They are challenged to find solutions to “wicked problems” that arise in the communities in Maryland. Through focus on social innovation problems they learn to research, ideate, prototype, and demonstrate the power of curiosity and creative problem solving. In this “laboratory” of study and experimentation they have created useful concepts, tangible tools, and immediately applicable solutions that can have an impact on these communities.
One such concept is the Toolkit for Partnerships, produced by the students in the Partnership class, at the request of the United Way of Central Maryland. This resource is available to be used through the Creative Commons license.
