Joining the Job & Career Listserv
The Job & Career Listserv is an e-mail distribution list developed for UMBC’s Learning and Performance Technology program (formerly known as Instructional Systems Development). Once you subscribe, you will receive job announcements, career and professional development information, invitations to events and other relevant news concerning the training, instructional design, and the performance improvement fields.
Employers that want to post jobs on our website and listserv should contact Greg Williams at gregw@umbc.edu.
How do I subscribe?
If you have a Google account, you may go to https://groups.google.com/a/umbc.edu/group/isdts-l-group log in and select “Apply for Membership”. You should then select your display name, decide if you will link to your google profile, and delivery preference. After your preferences are selected click “Apply to join this group”.
If you do not have a Google account send your email request to gregw@umbc.edu and jeannet1@umbc.edu.
Joining the Alumni Listserv
If you are an alumni of UMBC’s Learning and Performance Technology or Instructional Systems Development Master’s program, or the post-baccalaureate certificates in Learning and Performance Technology (formerly Instructional Systems Development), Instructional Technology (formerly Computer and Web-based Training) or Distance Education, sign-up for our alumni listserv. This listserv keeps alumni informed of special events, career and professional networking opportunities and professional development seminars.
