Calling all First-Gen Retrievers! Join UMBC’s first-generation faculty, staff, and students for a virtual panelist discussion on what it means to be the first in their families to attend college. Our panelists will share their experiences with navigating through their academic, professional, and personal lives as first-gen students and professionals.
Connect with other First-Gen Retrievers! Participants will have the opportunity to share their own experiences with being first generation college students with other first-gen students at UMBC. This will be a space for building community and solidarity through personal reflections and sharing of resources.
Join us virtually to interface with the Office of Professional Programs, Graduate Program Directors, and International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County! This session will allow you to receive information and ask questions about the University, our Professional Programs, and how to begin your studies in the U.S.
Whether you’re considering a career change or you need a respected professional credential to transition into a management role, UMBC’s Professional Graduate Programs will help you achieve the career of your dreams.
Attendees will also be eligible to win a $1000 scholarship during their session (restrictions apply)!
