Maryland Bionetworking Summit

Thursday, October 8 @ 6:00 pm 8:00 pm

Network and socialize with fellow biopharma, academic, and government professionals at our Maryland Bionetworking Summit—a bioscience-focused series designed to highlight our area’s unique life science ecosystem and to promote interactions between its diverse stakeholders.

This in-person evening event will consist of a networking social with refreshments, followed by a talk at the Biomedical Sciences and Engineering (BSE) Education Facility at the Universities at Shady Grove (USG) in Rockville.

Discoveries Begin with Curiosity: Foundations for the Future of Scientific Innovation

Ruth Cheng, Ph.D., ATCC President and CEO, shares ATCC’s mission to enable reproducible, high-quality science and the people, practices, and trusted biological resources that make it possible. The future of discovery depends on strong foundations, both in the skills scientists develop and the resources they rely on. From standardized procedures and documentation to authenticated biomaterials and data, these foundations underpin scientific integrity and progress. The talk will also highlight ATCC’s commitment to support the future of life science research and equipping the next generation of scientists to turn curiosity into meaningful impact.

Free parking is available in Lot 2 adjacent to the BSE (Building IV) as well as street parking. Please bring your parking ticket with you and we will provide you with a validation at registration. To help you navigate campus, check out USG’s interactive map.
