Leading the Adoption of New Technologies in Engineering [VIDEO]

New technologies in engineering are constantly emerging. The demand for qualified, innovative professionals continues to rise as the technologies open up doors to new playing fields.

UMBC offers a certificate in Integrated Product Development and Manufacturing that fills the gap between the traditional training in engineering design and manufacturing. The people who will benefit most from this graduate certificate program are early career engineers, predominantly those working on the design side.

As technologies develop, there’s going to be much more of an integration with design and manufacturing. Someone who really understands how to do design in the context of transitioning into manufacturing will be that much further ahead in terms of being able to lead the adoption of new technologies.
