The mission of UMBC’s Center for Women in Technology (CWIT) is to identify the areas in science, technology, and engineering where women are significantly underrepresented. In this week’s roundup, we catch a glimpse of this major gender gap in the technology industry. We also take a look at topics such as the tech saturated world, mobile learning videos, and apps designed by teen girls.
